NLCS Bangkok

North London Collegiate School Bangkok (NLCS Bangkok) will become the first all-girls international school in Thailand. The school will join the family of NLCS schools in London, Jeju, Dubai, and (from August 2020) Singapore.

NLCS Bangkok will be a girls-only day school for pupils aged 5-18, bringing NLCS’s ethos of rigorous scholarship, extra-curricular excellence and outstanding pastoral care to Thailand. It is planned that NLCS Bangkok will follow the British Curriculum up to age 16, with pupils sitting GCSEs, followed by the IB Diploma Programme in Sixth Form.

In the United Kingdom, NLCS has an exemplary record of the highest academic achievements and a strong tradition of providing an ambitious education, and encouragement of individuality. Each year, pupils from the school go on to study at some of the most prestigious universities around the world.

The school will emphasise an ambitious education, encouraging scholarship and a love of subjects, with a strong pastoral care system so that no pupil is without support. The strength of an ‘NLCS’ education is to allow the whole personality to grow, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Education throughout the school will reflect the distinctive features of the NLCS philosophy, with girls in the Senior School being taught by highly-qualified subject specialists. In order to embed the ethos and promote links between the campuses, staff will be trained at NLCS in London before they take up their posts.

“I am excited to be working with NLCS and Paragon Partners to bring NLCS’s outstanding educational model to Bangkok.  The ethos of NLCS Bangkok will combine rigorous scholarship with a happy, caring environment for girls, and promises to be unique and very special for those who experience it.”

Gwen Byrom, Founding Principal, NLCS Bangkok and President of the British Girls’ Schools Association (2018)

The NLCS Bangkok campus will be over 30,000 square-metre with brand new, state-of-the-art, facilities designed specifically as an all-girls campus in the heart of the city.
